SEO Specialist Test
About the role
We’re looking for an organised, curious SEO Specialist to join our digital team. You’ll work across technical, on‑page and content SEO to improve visibility, organic traffic and conversion for a range of client and/or in‑house websites. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll plan and deliver experiments, analyse results and share clear recommendations with colleagues and stakeholders.
What you’ll do
Execute technical SEO audits and implement fixes (site architecture, crawlability, indexing, hreflang, redirects)
Optimise on‑page elements including title tags, meta descriptions, headings and schema markup
Conduct keyword research and map intent to content opportunities
Work with content creators to brief, edit and measure high‑quality, search‑driven content
Monitor rankings, organic traffic and technical health using tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and a preferred SEO platform (e.g. Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMrush)
Run A/B and logic tests where relevant and report on impact to business KPIs
Prepare clear, actionable reports and present findings to internal teams or clients
Stay up to date with search engine algorithm changes and industry best practice
What we’re looking for
Practical experience working in SEO — ideally across technical, content and analytics streams
Comfortable with website tools and basic HTML; able to read sitemaps, robots.txt and understand server responses
Data‑led approach: able to analyse performance metrics and draw concise conclusions
Good written and verbal communication — you can explain technical issues to non‑technical stakeholders
Experience with an SEO toolset (choose at least one: Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, DeepCrawl)
Curiosity and an experimental mindset — you enjoy testing ideas and iterating based on results
Nice to have
Experience with Google Tag Manager and event tracking
Familiarity with CMS platforms such as WordPress, Shopify or similar
Basic knowledge of JavaScript and how it affects rendering and indexing
Paid search or CRO experience

Flexible working hours and hybrid working model
Generous annual leave and company‑wide shutdowns
